| Jane is a ‘career-change artist’, who came to glass after nearly 40 years in publishing, having recently completed an MA in 3D glass. She has published 21 books and written extensively on a variety of subjects from glass, poetry and music to computer software. More recently, Jane has helped to design websites for artists and small societies.
Her artistic technique focuses on the painterly qualities of pâte de verre and she sometimes encases her fragile pieces within blown glass forms, which lend them a greater robustness. Jane frequently creates swirling colours in her artworks, which range from small scale jewellery to large scale architectural projects.
